If Tori Amos & Dave Gilmore had an ADHD lovechild and you gave that child a distortion pedal it would grow up to be Orsino Nation.
Orsino Nation are art music rebels on a sonic journey toward transcendence. The duo's influences are highly eclectic & their music genre-jumps even within a single track. Their music has been likened to Kate Bush, Mr Bungle, Pink Floyd, Stevie Nicks, & Cradle of Filth in their more eerie moments. The songs all have an atmospheric, filmic quality, often building to a crescendo of primal vocals, ethereal harmonies, strings & choirs.
Dramatic and fey, frontwoman/rockstar/flamenco-dancer Yasmine Amber is emotionally electrifying and Charger is a classically-trained virtuoso pianist & flautist with a Viking sensibility and a penchant for heavy metal. The combination makes for an avant-garde symphony of wild and beautiful sounds.
