Description/Reviews
This album is the first full blown concept album and the most ambitious work that Peter Gee has ever written, over a total of 69 minutes, the 66 books of the Bible told through rock music and narration, and includes many of the main characters contained within the scriptures.
"The Bible" contains a stunning array of musical styles from the progressive "Revelation", "The Kingdom Of God" and "The Prophets" to rock anthems "The Fall" and "The Law", from the haunting female vocal pieces "Adam And Eve" and "The Gospel" to the acoustic "Samson And Delilah" and "Exodus", from instrumentals "Jacob’s Ladder" and "Walls Of Jericho", to the groove based "Crossing The Sea" and "Spirit", and yet the whole album has a wonderful power and unity to it.

Tomi Leppänen (Circle): Drums
   With
Antti Boman (Demilich): Vocals
Hans Joachim Irmler (Faust): Organ

Description/Reviews
Musically the band bring the usual tasty blend of psych-kraut-space rock grooves. The propulsive chug of ‘Maalimanlopun Ateriana’ is spattered by outburts of acid yellow 80’s synth that pop up now and then across the record. It’s light on its feet and the quicker, restlessly motorik numbers alternate with a couple of more laid back, wide eyed dreamers. The atmospheric ‘Meanwhile’ finds us orbiting serenely while Boman reports back from the planet below. It doesn’t sound like he has great news. On the chilled out, nocturnal ‘Satavuotiaden Salaisuus’ he contents himself with a series of low growls and groans. Either side of it the wonderfully titled ‘Lalibela Cannot Spell Zero’ and ‘I Drove All Night by My Solar Stomp’ seem cut from the same cloth of expanding, driving, kraut metal, heading for the horizon flattening all in their path.

Description/Reviews
Finally George is the epitome of flawlessly arranged and recorded prog-rock pop music – endlessly deep tracks that ache with the pain of separation. With addictive walls of sound that repeatedly build up to monumental proportions.
Sophisticated melodies, held together by forceful arrangements, are melded with harmonious vocals, heavy-metal guitar riffs, opulent keyboards, cinematic strings and epic choruses.
The result is a prog-rock album with numerous melodious pop elements, mastered by no less a figure than Grammy Award winner Tim Young – the icing on the cake of such a visionary project.

Description/Reviews
Titled “Mirror Of Creation III – Project Ikaros“, the German Progressive Metal institution TOMORROW‘S EVE start their comeback with their fifth album, which could not be more majestic, varied and bombastic and shows the band on the peak of its creativity so far. An extravagant musical journey of a special kind not only awaits fans of powerful driven forward Progressive Metal, but also fans of orchestral epics, which are refined by chaotic aggressive keyboards, but never neglect the melodies. The ‘Mirror Of Creation‘ provides complex song structures that demand the listener, but alternate recursively with catchy choruses and shallow sounds. Musically, a driving rhythm section, sensitive piano passages, acoustic guitars and extensive musical landscapes merge with the lyrical concept of the works of Edgar Allen Poe. With “Mirror Of Creation III – Project Ikaros”, the band once again succeeds in strengthening their reputation and this is evident in the eleven songs in all respects. The opener “Welcome To The Show” describes how the hall darkens and the show is starting. This shows uncompromisingly into which musical realm TOMORROW’S EVE will venture out. “Morpheus” depicts the tragedy of insomnia and the characters pursued nightmares, while “Bread And Circuses” directs to the topic of the past and raises the question if humanity will ever be able to learn from failures of the past.  “Imago” illustrates that fear can be the key to insanity, privacy and individuality are just a few of the dying values. “The System”, a song that mentally raises the idea, if it would be not even more appropriate for humanity to end up wiping itself out for the sake of humanity itself. “Dream Within A Dream” describes the battle against this very mechanized system. However, the poem found in the song ensures that the endless cycle of the system can be finally revealed in “Somnium Ex Machina”.

Description/Reviews
The opening title track ‘Epitaph’ sets the album`s mood. There is pain and loss at work here, but not pain and loss that are given in to. Sparse piano motifs face energetic rhythms, shimmering guitar coatings, and eruptions of dense fury breathe life into a journey of melancholic longing: there is the release experienced when a troubled existence ends in ‘Mortal Coil‘ followed by the sombre foreshadowing that is ‘Winter Dusk/Awakening‘.
The album changes direction slightly with ‘Seánce Room’ and the music on this highway is taking you someplace meaningful and special – someplace where near and far blur and stars weep over tragedies.
Finally, the beautiful and hypnotic piece of music that is the album-closing ‘Oisín’ is in memory of Torsten and Niels' 7-year-old cousin who was tragically taken from this world. It distils into four minutes all the pain, sadness and longing felt by many over a much-longer timeframe. A fitting end to an album that will move you deeply and call out to you to be revisited many times.
