Description/Reviews:
The album pushes further into the rich musical territory the band first began exploring decades ago. For songwriter Chris Flynn, the album’s title reflects both its musical structure and its deeper philosophical themes. “These songs morph together as dreams often do. They contain a continuing thread or theme, again a definition of dreams. And in a larger sense, we prepare for the infinite, our disappearance, by defining the finite, our Dreams of the Disappeared.”
That dream-like continuity flows throughout the album, where melodies evolve organically and individual songs feel like chapters within a larger musical narrative. The band’s distinctive identity remains intact, led by the unmistakable sound of Shishonee Flynn’s harp — still one of the most original instruments in progressive rock.

Label: Apollon Records
Format: CD, digital, vinyl
Release date: April 30, 2026
Tracklist
1. Hallway – (6:43)
2. Waters – (5:14)
3. Brisé Volé – (7:41)
4. Borrowed Time – (6:24)
5. Clueless – (6:07)
6. Cities – (8:23)

Total Time 40:32

Credits
Jarle Wangen: bass, guitars, vocals
Morten Lund: guitars, keyboards, vocals (producer)
Jo Wang: keyboards, Therevox
Andreas Eriksen: keyboards, percussion
Kai Lundewall: drums, vocals

Frank Lewis: live sound, recording engineer, guitar amps, circuit wizard

Description/Reviews:
It’s a sixtrack record that pushes the band into a more powerful, riff-driven register while preserving their signature analogue warmth and modern clarity.
Where Fabric of Time played as a slow-burning homage to 1970s symphonic rock with a contemporary touch, Veil on Life feels current and assertive. The lyrics address memory, identity and time, each in their own way. For example, Hallway builds up a meditative distance that nudges the listener into relaxation, whilst Waters takes the listener on an evolutionary journey. Brisé Volé encourages self-scrutiny, whereas Clueless is restless and yearning, and Cities explores urban longing. Instrumentally the band still leans on Mellotron, Therevox and vintage synths. But this recording is driven by energetic electric guitars and shimmering 12-string acoustics, all backed by a warm 70s-style bass and firm rhythms that add texture and weight while preserving the band’s atmospheric songcraft.
Fans of 35 Tapes restrained cinematic prog will recognise the band’s typical warm, spacious mixes, while being introduced to new forceful soundscapes. Veil on Life balances the band’s tasteful restraint with boosted emotional confidence, delivered with discipline rather than excess.

Rudi Greco: electric bass
Maurizio Marra: drums
Alex Camaiti: vocals, guitars

Description/Reviews:
“20.000 Leghe sotto i Mari” (Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Seas), in fact, openly inspired by Jules Verne’s literary masterpiece, consists of a single suite of almost 40 minutes in length – divided into two acts in the LP version – that constitutes a sort of summary of everything that Italian progressive rock has always represented: a musical genre often used to describe the complexity and variety of the human soul, thanks to continuous and unpredictable harmonic, rhythmic and melodic changes, all intimately linked by a single thread. Apart from some electric guitar and keyboard sections that clearly sound modern and fresh, “20.000 Leghe sotto i Mari” could well be mistaken for one of the great symphonic prog albums released in the early 70s!

Artwork & Visions by Ed Unitsky

Description/Reviews:
Embark on a transformative journey with Atonement of a Former Sailor Turned Painter, a progressive rock experience that goes beyond music—it's a narrative of courage, remorse, and the pursuit of meaning. This unique album stands out not only for its compelling storytelling but for its lyrics, which span in five different languages (English, French, Haitian Creole, Portuguese, and Dutch), capturing the rich, multicultural essence of the Caribbean's seafaring world.
The concept album follows a former sailor seeking redemption through art, where the turbulent seas of his past are channeled into brushstrokes that lay bare his restless soul.
Each song and story draws listeners into evocative realms: the camaraderie of the Leviathan's Dream Tavern, a place of meeting refuge and shared tales; the haunting Siren's Tooth Reef, caught between storm and calm, a limbo for souls who glimpse their own unrest; and the mystical Floating Painter's Palette, where art and memory merge in a wordless plea for forgiveness and peace.
This album is a sonic logbook, an invitation to navigate uncharted waters of dreams, regrets, and introspection. Let the music and storytelling guide you through this odyssey—a vivid exploration of human fragility and resilience, as notes and narratives weave together a tapestry of redemption and profound self-discovery. Each song is accompanied by a short story that embodies its storytelling, enriching the listener's experience and deepening the narrative context of the album.

Ambra Bianchi: flute, lead and backing vocals, harp
Antonello Giovannelli: organ, piano, synths
Luca Trabanelli: acoustic and electric guitars
Paolo Bolognesi: drums
Francesco Franz Gigante: electric bass

Description/Reviews:
Un'altra mano di carte shows Limite Acque Sicure's vision of progressive rock, respectful of the lessons of the 70's masters but at the same time with a more rock and melodic push, with more touching themes - in some ways political - than the frequent fantasy or introspective topics of the prog genre. Human evil and narcissism in Joker, the conquest of Latin America by the Spanish in Il racconto di Juan della sua terra, the horrors and pains in the trenches of the First World War in Natale 1914, the abuses and injustices against women in Chita, the suffering of a nameless man in ...non il Bergerac, the wish to listen to the truths of other people in Storie perdute. The story of life experiences by characters sometimes fictional and sometimes real, sometimes current and sometimes remote in time, which highlight profound, little-known and even uncomfortable topics, such as rebellion, marginalization, inexorability. But always, in the end, with a thread of hope.

Tony Alemanno - bass
Diego Mariani - drums, backing vocals
Franco Giaffreda - lead vocals, classical guitar, flute

Description/Reviews:
“2084: Viaggio nel Nulla” (2084: Journey into Nowhere) is a 100% Alphataurus record, starting from its beautiful and futuristic three-panel cover illustrated by the band’s new drummer, recalling the paintings of the magnificent debut album. Musically, the sound is more modern and catchy, but also delivers a complex and ever interesting song construction, as shown in the long tracks “Pista 6” and “Wormhole”. As the title suggests, “2084: Viaggio nel Nulla” is a dystopian, sci-fi concept full of philosophical and existential insights.

Description/Reviews:
The album "Il mondo esausto" (The Exhausted World), as the title suggests, is the group's vision of the contemporary world that tends to give, deprive and engulf emotions to the human being, making the latter afflicted by the feeling of powerlessness in the face of the impossibility of being able to realize in reality what the mind conceives or desires.
What characterises the songs is a cinematic breath. A series of "soundtracks" for every juncture of a typical day nowadays. No matter in what order you listen to the record, each of us from the moment we wake up to the moment we fall asleep (then passing through the dreamlike) will touch in a completely personal way the emotion and sensation that each track suggests; frenzy, delicacy, frustration, resignation, hope, joy. The listener is accompanied in this emotional vortex that no one can deny experiencing from time to time.

Description/Reviews:
In 2023, after connecting with a group of New York musicians called The Band Geeks, Jon embarked on a summer of 2023 tour performing 2 hours of YES epics and classics. With The Band Geeks, Jon found a group of musicians that he felt could collaborate with him to create a body of work that rivaled the classic YES sound of the 70’s and 80’s. The result of this collaboration is “True”. The 9-song album harkens back to the sound of classic YES and features compositions of all lengths with the centerpiece being the 16 minute song “Once Upon a Dream”.

Description/Reviews:
...there’s no confusion about the music, which channels the band’s classic 1970s sound – 10 powerful and melodic instrumentals packed full of electric guitar pyrotechnics, swelling Hammond organ, nimble piano and trademark flute. Sadly, there is no yodelling but, on the plus side, band founder Thijs van Leer has refrained from indulging in the groaning vocals that marred one of the tracks on the previous album.
