Description/Reviews
There are just five tracks but it opens with one at over ten minutes and closes with one double that. So there’s plenty on show and equally loads of space to develop ideas. And they certainly use that space.
Opener “Delusional Warp” is a real slow burn of a track as the sounds drift in and a harmonised vocal leads the way. It feels a little spacey at times, ethereal vocals mellowing me out as the guitars and percussion come in to wake me up.

David Wallumrød : keyboards
Nikolai Hængsle Eilertsen (Elephant9): bass
Olaf Olsen : drums

Description/Reviews
What do you get if you combine Robert Wyatt and Syd Barret's melodies with the very best from the 70's fusion and the playful feeling of early Weather Report? Put in some grooves of Return to Forever, and finally add a slice of the classy and thoughtful songwriting of progrock legends like Caravan and Camel? Well, you might not get the latest Needlepoint album, but at least we're close.
A lot of these references were explored on the band's previous album "Aimless Mary", but on "The Diary of Robert Reverie" they embrace them even more - it's effortless, enthusiastic and playful. Olaf Olsen's drums are even more present, and dynamically swirls up the songs, while David Wallumrød plays the keys with an organic nerve as if the sound came from the earth itself. Everything is supervised by producer and bassplayer Nikolai Hængsle, who in is not afraid to turn on the fuzz when needed not unlike Soft Machine, still there's melody in each bass line. At the same time maestro and songwriter Bjørn Klakegg's guitar floats all over it and keeps it together ranging from soft jazzheat to wild rock heroism.
Many of the lyrics are inspired by the environment around Bjørns place in Sweden, and the main character Robert, a dreamy individual, is also inspired by the nice, sometimes strange people in the small village. Bjørns older brother Rune Klakegg has illustrated the cover. (propermusic.com)

Description/Reviews
As with the previous album, And the Stars Above is an instrumental mix of electric violin, keyboards, bass, and drums with focus on the amazing and powerful electric violin, performed by Jacopo Bigi. The sound of the album is more oriented to soundtrack music with textures that feel very immediate. Throughout the album, lingers a ghostly female voice, appearing and disappearing here and there before fully emerging in the band's first song with lyrics, “Clouds Collide”. The track tells the story of a girl between time and memories. And the Stars Above is a journey through 12 tracks, starting with “The March of the Stars” inspired by Dante's Paradise and ending with “Ghosts”. The album also features two bonus tracks: a polyrhythmic piece for piano solo, “The Fire Dancer”, and the String Quartet “A Playful Day”.

Description/Reviews
In contrary to ‘The Beacons of Somewhere Sometime’, there are no conceptual connections or themes on ‘La Muerta’. ‘La Muerta’ is a clear counterpoint to the 2015 album. In addition to two shorter instrumental tracks, ‘La Muerta’also contains a very calm and emotinal piece entitled ‘Some Kind of Drowning’, which is mainly carried by a piano. In addition, this song features Russian singer Marjana Semkina as duo partner of Arno Menses.

Description/Reviews
If you are a fan of early 70's VDGG then you will most definately and most certainly find your delight in this album as the 2 longest tracks, Chasing The Horizon and Past the Evening Sun could practically be lifted from VDGG sessions of that era.  The shortest song, End Of Greatness brings to mind early King Crimson more than VDGG.

Description/Reviews
Second episode for this French ensemble that has garnered great acclaim with the first work of 2015. Canterbury sound, convincing and effective melodies together with instrumental joints with typically French flavor remain essential ingredients to compose this eclectic mix. The vintage timbres of the keyboards are always the master, now the group shows greater maturity and awareness, a decisive step forward that places Alco Frisbass among the best episodes of the genre of recent years. Black Moon Circle "Psychedelic Spacelord"

Magnus Kofoed - Fender Rhodes, Mellotron, Hammond organ
Jonathan Segel (Øresund Space Collective) - violin

Description/Reviews
Although psychedelic space rock is the basis for Black Moon Circle’s music, they also combine elements of avant-garde, blues rock, classic rock, electronica, experimental music, heavy metal, improv, Krautrock and post rock on Psychedelic Spacelord, which is a musical roller coaster.
During the forty-six minutes the music veers between dark and dramatic, to atmospheric, cinematic and futuristic as sci-fi sounds assail the listener before the music becomes anthemic and uplifting  and other times, lysergic, trippy and for much of the time hard rocking. Indeed, Psychedelic Spacelord features Black Moon Circle at their hard rocking best .

   With
Johnny Kmaleonic: Synth Programming (9)

Description/Reviews
The benefit of separating the songs allows the band to focus on slightly different styles. “Tiempo” has a little more atmosphere while “Espacio” is like a punch in the face...  “Via Lactea” is a facemelter of a track. Great solos and top notch riffing. Want some more riffs? “Espejos” is more proof that Metalurgia can really play. I also like the stuttering riff of “Asteriodes” but the blast beats (while technically impressive) almost drown out what’s going on.

Description/Reviews
The benefit of separating the songs allows the band to focus on slightly different styles. “Tiempo” has a little more atmosphere while “Espacio” is like a punch in the face. The title track of “Tiempo” starts things off well and reminds me of Satriani when he is a bit more focused on melody than cutting loose on solos.

Description/Reviews
They also like to associate themselves with the term pronk, which stands for progressive punk and has been made popular – well, more or less – by British band Cardiacs. Where these pronk pioneers usually had very strict songwriting, Detieti prefer to dabble more in freeform exercises, which can best be heard on the first and last track on the album, which both are about ten minutes long. The opener Cocaintro is not so much an intro but a nine minute long elaboration of different motifs that use all kinds of elements, from Black Sabbath influenced doom riffs to classical music. The overall impression if quite funky, as if the Spin Doctors had been let loose after the intake of unspecified hallucinogens.

Description/Reviews
The sound of KARMABLUE undergoes a decisive genetic mutation turning towards a dreamlike song sung in Italian, with evolving sounds that condense different stylistic influences, from the ’70s prog to the post-rock of the’ 90s, with some metal accent, in a true expressive explosion.
The members of the band, embracing at least two generations, if not even three, with their personal baggage give shape to an art rock full of energy and rich in arrangements, the result of meticulous and patient research.
The lyrics, for the most part the work of the author Giacomo Caruso, and taken from his poetry books, are introspective and intimate, and explore once again the great themes of human research.

The themes of Soyuz were born from the idea of how beautiful moments pass and cannot be “saved for later”, so within Soyuz are interconnected tales of people and lives “frozen in time”. Taking inspiration from a multitude of eras and subject matters, including the doomed Russian space capsule Soyuz and its iconic captain Komarov; the Tibetan Buddhist funeral practice in “Sky Burial”; the inclusion of the oldest recording of the human voice from 1860 and the Hans Christian Andersen inspired “Emperor Bespoke”.
