Description/Reviews:
Raffaello Regoli, already known in the Italian progressive environment for having been a friend and pupil of Demetrio Stratos, to whom he dedicated the musical review "Homage to Demetrio Stratos" for more than twenty years, in an organizational capacity, after the parenthesis with Runaway Totem returns with his original band to reproduce the typical transversal sound also revealed in the album "Giro tondo (giro) fuori scena" of 2000, with genuine, essential seventies connotations, including progressive, rock, jazz, rhytmn blues, with digressions also experimental and theatrical. The important vocality of Regoli, but above all with the strength of the collective, returns to pulsate the warm and biting groove of songs such as "Cormorano", "Nuovi colori", "25 Aprile", in which certain convergences with Area cannot be missing, maintaining however its own identity and immediacy, even when it comes to developing a rather original version of "Asia" by Francesco Guccini. And the more experimental component also creeps into the folds of enthralling songs, such as the introductory "Obliquizione", "Disarmoritmo", the ritualistic theatricality (sound poetry?) of "Festa di Settembre", an integral part of the musical visions of Cormorano, who don`t even spare the icing on the cake with the ending of "Clenched fists". A love that comes from afar and that still hasn`t exhausted its inspiration and expressive power.

Description/Reviews:
Portuguese artist Mostly Nothing is out with the EP "Somewhere Else", and progressive metal is the style explored on this production. It is an elegant variety of instrumental progressive metal we get on this production, with a number of gentler atmospheric laden passages offset by more elegant as well as more vibrant metal surges with both classic era progressive metal as well as more of a post-metal approach and execution is used. In addition most of the compositions feature at least some elements with more of a distinct classical music, ranging from delicate wandering piano motifs to more elaborate sequences with more of a chamber music feel to them. That the artists adds in some impulses from jazz to the landscapes explored here merits a mention too. Everything is explored and executed with a smooth and elegant ease, with a high quality mix and production as the icing on the cake here. A production to seek out by those fond of elegant and well made instrumental progressive metal with distinct ties to classical music. (Olav Martin Bjornsen at progressor.net's facebook)

Description/Reviews:
Proggy and crazy, the Dream Theater and Haken influences are evident in this song. As for the album, is it a concept album that tells the story of a magician that questions his entire life’s work. He’s spent his entire life devoting himself to his craft and now he questions if it was worth it. Musically the album goes through many stages as the character does on this journey of himself. There are songs that are angry, songs that are confused, songs that are depressed, and everywhere in between.
