8. Forks (4:28)
9. Speak Up (6:05)
10. Piranhas (4:20)
11. Dark Brush (6:04)

Total Time 51:36

Line-up:
Brendan Bayliss: Guitar, vocals
Jake Cinninger: Guitar, vocals
Joel Cummins: Keyboard, vocals
Ryan Stasik: Bass
Kris Myers: Drums, vocals
Andy Farag: Percussion
   With
Joshua Redman: Saxophone (9)

Description/Reviews:
Things get interesting immediately with the second track “Looks,” a groovy prog-funk track with mixed tempos and thumping bass lines. There is even a moment that bares similarities to a Tony Bank’s Genesis keyboard breakdown. This is a fun track and one any prog fan would appreciate... Things kick into high gear with the 5th song, “Maybe Someday,” the group’s dive into progressive rock. All the elements are here, the killer chops, time signature changes, solo breakdowns, and the explosive fast-paced ending complete with finger tapping. Sitting back listening to this one, you might find yourself doing a double take, wondering ‘what in the world was that?!’ Next track “Remind Me” gives off the suggestion that perhaps we are heading back into jam territory with its acoustic guitar groove and mystical breakdown in the chorus. But before the listener can get too comfortable, the band dive straight into prog metal for perhaps the highlight of the album. This is full-on double bass, guitar chunk shred, and it doesn’t let up for the remaining 5 minutes of the song.

Description/Reviews:
Eclectic Electric (Volume 1) is the first solo album by Pallas guitarist Niall Mathewson and, as the title suggests, is an eclectic selection of tracks that vary from out and out rock and progressive, to rich atmospheric soundscapes, and classical based themes.
Though it might not always necessarily sound like it, every track features Niall on guitar, including the track “Mortis”. The 12 track album features a mixture of instrumental pieces and songs, with Mathewson singing on 2 and several guest vocalists on the others. All tracks are written and played by Niall except one that features a musical collaboration with Rob Meulman.

10. Amazing Sounds Of D.B. Turi - Der Flammenwerfer (8:19)

Description/Reviews:
A strange fish bonus CD, exclusive to buyers of strange fish one – four.
The CD is packed with tracks and artists that that didn’t quite fit or work within the themes or time-limits of the vinyl releases, or were so wild and different I wanted to share them with you, come what may.
Elevation was recorded in the Nevada desert in 1999 on the night of the millennium by Michael Padilla from The Soft Bombs; Beau recorded back in the 70s for John Peel’s Dandelion label, but I bet you didn’t know he recorded this instrumental piece for a video project in the mid-80s.
Jay Tausig is a Fruits de Mer regular, a multi-instrumentalist from the USA who put the whole thing together solo…and as for D.B Turi, he's essentially the psychedelic lost boy, written out of the history books of rock and roll, hung out with and influenced the greats of the rock/psych/Woodstock generation scene of the late 60s, 70s; he influenced the great guitar players on both sides of the Atlantic both in swinging London and in California within the inner circles of the scene; it was believed he never recorded until, quite recently tapes were discovered...(it says on the photocopied press release that has just arrived at FdM Towers, but whoever believed a press release?).

13 Echoes - Daal - 16'27''
14 Jugband Blues - Nous Dianoia - 3'16"

Description/Reviews:
Offering the Floyd’s songs under a new guise - from the ‘60s until the last "The Division Bell" in 1994 – we find mostly Italian artists (Pandora, Fabio Zuffanti, Conqueror, EgoBand, Archangel, Prowlers, Greenwall & more), from the little-known but solid  and florid progressive rock panorama of the peninsula, but there are also a couple of international acts, such as the American Jay Tausig, the Finnish Permanent Clear Light and the supergroup The Samurai of Prog, including Roine Stolt from The Flower Kings and Jon Davison, the current lead singer for Yes.
Another peculiarity of this 2-CD release is the choice of atypical PF songs: the great classics - "Wish You Were Here", "Another Brick in the Wall", "Money" , "Comfortably Numb" and many others - were deliberately left out, in favor of lesser-known but equally important tracks, from albums such as "The Piper at the Gates of Dawn", "A Saucerful of Secrets", "Animals", "A Momentary Lapse of Reason" and "The Final Cut", almost always forgotten in any common-tribute album.

Description/Reviews:
"As it is, Corvus Stone debut album is a marathon collection of bits and pieces of which some will intrigue, some will not and quite a few will be somewhere in between. A promising but uneven first chapter in the history of a band that those who know more about it will always associate with Facebook. An album I suspect should find favour amongst fans of melodic progressive rock of the Floydian kind, especially if they also tend to like improvisational material of the instrumental variety."
" So what's it sound like, you ask? Well, consider the tags on the MR Records website, where you can hear the album in its entirety. Progressive Rock; Classic Rock; Avant Garde; Camel; Floyd; Crimson; and European Porn Music (!!) are all mentioned, but every influence is already deeply ingrained in the music instead of cosmetically applied on top. The artwork suggests a Heavy Metal experience, which is hardly the case. And guitarist Colin Tench describes the music (with disarming self-deprecation) as "funky '70s to heavy weird to Floyd to stupid and back again", which only covers about half the stylistic cues."
"Generally the music here is very 1970s inspired; sounds like '70s style music recorded on modern equipment. At times the music is reminiscent of Camel, Floyd and Steve Hackett solo."
"Don't expect the particularly complex music but they surely know how to rock, including references from different genres, including Psychedelia, Classic Rock, Blues, Symphonic and even some ethnic touches from different regions, all blended with great taste and skills in a Prog package."

All music performed, written, engineered, mixed, and mastered by Brent Vallefuoco

Description/Reviews:
The Prison, Pt. I, a concept album, is the first part in a planned double record release. Together, the two parts of the album (part one representing alienation and part two representing coming-of-age) tells the story of a boy's childhood, following him from birth until the end of his youth. Part one, solely focusing on the story leading up to teenage years, is comprised of four total compositions, each separated into movements that tell different parts of the story.
Musically, the album draws influence from a wide range of sources, ranging from Heavy Metal acts such as Opeth to progressive rock groups such as Pink Floyd to post rock groups like Sigur Ros, acoustic songwriters such as Cat Stevens, and several others. Simply put, the album freely cycles throughout several styles while style aiming to be a wild, mind-bending experience.

Description/Reviews:
While the album is unique enough to have its own identity, in a somewhat intangible way, it feels similar to Pink Floyd's The Wall in overall structure. Opener "Meeting the Piper" is an atmospheric, slow introduction that feels like a mixture between Floyd's "Wish You Were Here" and Led Zeppelin's "In the Light." "Running with the Crowd" is a catchy, funky prog track in the vein of Umphrey's Mcgee. Its riffs and melodies are instantly addicting. "Wishing Well" is a dynamic rocker highlighted by fierce flute playing and majestic harmonies.
