Franco Avalli (ADRAMELCH) - bass

Description/Reviews:
ENTER finally get the wages of their many years of work, even if the days of her active career were a little longer ago. Because now the previously unreleased demo recordings by the Italians are finally being made available to the public and published under the album title "1991 - Images From Floating Worlds". ENTER played pure eighties Prog Rock, which is very unique due to its unusual performance. A keyboard virtuoso uses sacred tones to create a sound that the listener otherwise only knows from great keyboard luminaries of Prog Rock, and an exceptional singer sings even more eccentrically and extraordinary than the fan of ADRAMELCH is used to. ENTER lived, felt and played in their own world, which can now finally be rediscovered.

Description/Reviews:
This album starts with WHEN THEY COME, where it's clear the lesson of bands as DREAM THEATER, but developing a deep own style. Changes of time, epic memories, Power accelerations..a really tasty recipe. HEIR TO APOSTASY starts heavier and goes on with an enjoyable metal riffing, with a more open singing, clear sign of ability of singer HAYE GRAF.
IMMORTAL PROJECTION is a point forward compared to previous songs..continuous changes of time, singing more thoughtful. Almost nine min duration for PARANOIA, an awesome song that it pulls the listener in a paranoic horde before guitars finally take over.
The work goes on with three great songs as MACBETH, SENSE AND SCIENCE and EMBER, before the break of ELEMENTUM, a great instrumental. SHIPWRECKED is the last drop of high class. (Giovanni Soldi at hardrockheavymetal.info)

Description/Reviews:
The band’s sound, surprisingly, is a more atmospheric style compared to the average progressive metal band, arguably leaning a bit more towards the alternative sound (or, at a pinch, a metal version of Pink Floyd) than what you might expect from the genre. Obviously, I’m speaking as someone who doesn’t listen to a lot of progressive metal, but I actually like this style of it by comparison to the Dream Theater worship, as it’s the sort of thing which shows a very tasteful restraint and appreciation towards strong songwriting that you actually will want to listen to if you’re not normally a fan of the genre, but is still technically challenging in a way that doesn’t shove itself into your face. It’s basically the Queensryche and Crimson Glory way of doing progressive metal, only with a lot more of a focus on atmosphere compared to them, which is completely fine in my book!

Description/Reviews:
Even with all the sharp guitar lines, the album as a whole felt darker, even sad. From this being the final chapter? Possibly. Alternatively, returning to the guitar lines, Opus is a guitar heavy, guitar centered, album. The riffs and leads essentially constrain and control the arrangements. There are keyboards, but seem merely for embellishment. The next most powerful element is Sigfrido Percich's drums which are brisk and substantial beyond the usual conventions, notable within Northern Lights and Only By Pain. Yet, I still fall back to the previous observation: the strong guitar presence throughout this album. Several final observations, by way of conclusion. One, while there is a progressive element to their music, it's not all that complex. The band leans more towards melody. Two, the album sounds good; the production has created a clean, crisp, sound to the album, lifting players.

Description/Reviews:
With “Behind Transparent Walls” fans of sophisticated, progressive metal will be experiencing an absolute joy spree! After a self-released EP in 2012 the band now recorded their first studio album which will not disappoint any fan of prog metal heroes from the early 90s. Inspired by bands like Psychotic Waltz, Secrecy, Sieges Even and Depressive Age, the quintet is mixing quiet, atmospheric parts with heavy thrash attacks. Here the melodic, clean vocals of Haye Graf are hitting fat guitar riffs. A modern, powerful production rounds up the progressive, sophisticated songwriting. All eight songs are featuring profound arrangements, heavy parts are mixing up with spherical parts. Finally the album got an absolutely appropriate and transparent, crystal-clear sound and an atmospheric cover artwork.

Description/Reviews:
”Schlage mein Herz, Schlage” is a nice re-entry into the progressive scene. It is perhaps more on the atmospheric side than on the metallic one, but there definitly are hard rock and metal elements to be found on the album. Rather than a progressive metal album in the purest sense of the word, ”Schlage mein Her, Schlage” is an eclectic progressive album that combines elements from alternative rock, gothic rock, heavy metal, and hard rock into a dark and atmospheric blend.
