Description/Reviews
Impeccable knowledge of genres from Jazz to Metal allow the band to cover vast ground. Opener “Distortions of Perception” shows this right off the bat: a well-nigh cacophony of Metal riffing, frantic drums, and aggressive high-tech guitar suddenly melts into levitating jazz fusion. But startling contrasts of genres and awe-inspiring virtuosity is just the method. Elaborate polyphony, complex time signatures, and high-tech chops serve a higher purpose — of taking you to a mysterious place where engrossing scenes unfold all around.

Description/Reviews
The sound is reminiscent of Post Rock/Metal, as there are hints of Tool and definitely Isis in there, with hints of Progressive Metal and Shoegaze in there as well. “Devoid Of Purpose” gives the listener the first taste of the band’s layered, atmospheric approach. Siegmar Pohl’s airy vocal delivery and the alternation between clean and dense, distorted guitars create an engaging, yet enigmatic effect, sometimes light and spirited, at other times somewhat dark and brooding. If not for the sheer length of the song, I could definitely see it getting airtime on the radio, as the overall sound is catchy and very listenable despite its variety of components.

Description/Reviews
New Haven is hauntingly stunning, with lush instrumentation and beautifully smooth vocals that move as one with the music. It’s relaxing yet gripping at the same time, keeping your interest but maintaining a chilled and laid-back aura. It’s refreshing and one of the immediate standout tracks is Playwright, beginning with sparse and simplistic instrumentation and vocals before the full band kicks in and cranks up the momentum.
