 Halcyon Days are a band out of Oslo that defy blackened expectations by instead playing a fairly conventional style of modern “progressive” metalcore, i.e. djent, that sounds strikingly similar to the likes of contemporary trail-blazers Northlane and Periphery. If you like either of those two bands to any extent then you’ll probably enjoy Halcyon Days’ debut album .Elevate, and if you don’t then you probably won’t.
