Taika are an excellent Canterbury-ish Japanese prog band with female vocals (lyrics in Japanese). "Pulsate" delivers delicate vocals and sublime accordion sounding, while free and improvisational performances by other members illuminate their world. Their sound is both glittering and airy, inspired from images of flickering star and deep forest (The lyrics represent these images). With somewhat tranquil and oriental mood, their music will give you unique impression that can't be given by other singer-bands.
