Description/Reviews:
After ... intro, the music gently mutates into melodic and mostly tranquile Post Rock. Even though it's a one man project, Aelita Red does really sound like a band and, even more surprisingly, the album sounds as if it had been recorded live in an empty church or theater. There are almost pastoral qualities to the music and the way it sounds (kind of reminding me of Manfred Eicher produced ECM albums). There is a lot of reverberation, little or no overdubbing, delicate keyboards (mostly mellotron) but an underlying power in the guitars, that seems to increase as the album nears the end.Read the full review by Marc at proggnosis.com
