Description/Reviews:
This is different from the previous two efforts, and shows a wealth of influences. Brieg recently mentioned to me that Opeth and King Crimson influenced the sound of this album, and that after much thought, he has really found his style in progressive/hard rock (especially using ‘real’ instruments and vintage amps). That all sounds great, right?Media/Samples
What remains is the darkness that drew me to this band’s work in the first place. “En Desped” is as foreboding (yet cool) as the album’s artwork, courtesy of Javier Sagasta Lacalle.
BTW, if you can’t understand the lyrics… you (like me) obviously don’t speak Breton; the band continues its tradition of singing in their native language. But that doesn’t detract from the music (as it speaks for itself), and I really admire the band for championing their culture through their music. (progtracks.tumblr.com)
