The Grand Sheep’s Style can be described as melodic New Artrock, including elaborate, diversified Guitar-Riffs combined with a carpet of gentle synth-sounds and a moderately tricky, driving rhythm section. Not to mention the fact that the guys intersperse heavier sections and merge them with psychedelic-nuanced, smooth parts. The audience can count on a lot of musical diversity including colorful, quiet, yet exciting arranged songs that get stuck in your head easily. Within the albums song selection there’s neither orchestral bombast, nor jazzy drives, nor small sprinkles of tough Alternative rock or electronic styles missing. All in all The Grand Sheep’s debut presents a remarkably independent album with an absolutely unique charm.Full review in German by Thomas Kohlruß at babyblaue-seiten.de
