Description/Reviews:
The group takes on a post-metal sound that is one part The Ocean, one part Cult of Luna, and one smaller part 90s hard rock a la Deftones or Tool. The result is an occasionally proggy post-metal sound that is impressive and emotive, even if it is, at times, somewhat derivative.Read the full review by Nicholas Senior at newnoisemagazine.com
Playing find the influence is easy with most bands, and NevBorn is no exception, but, for the most part, the group is able to play well enough that you don’t mind the coloring within the lines approach. Five Horizons is an expansive, impressive listen, with effective crescendos, cascading in riffs.
