Description/Reviews:
Groove Think is an innovative, progressive rock trio based in Austin, TX that fuses elements of funk, jazz, and groove. The album is based upon a semi-totalitarian, futuristic world in which information has been made available through a device called "The Intellect." After implanted into the arm, the device allows humans to upload, download, and store information directly. The album pivots around 2 individuals: the creator and a user. Through their eyes, emotions, and experiences, the album plays through technological driven themes of dependency, isolation, cognizance, liberation, and other motifs. The music itself is our most exploratory yet--aggressive, abrasive, technical, and moody. We hope it embodies what most think of when a progressive concept album comes to mind.Media/Samples
