Description/Reviews:
On their second album 'Atman' the band stretches the limits of their musical universe. With more musical skills and a production right on the spot, recorded and mixed, using an entirely analog process. Inevitable and infinite is their cosmic journey. Rooted in glorious rock history, but always their creative eye on the future. Their search has led to an unprecedented dynamic sound and colour. The catchy songs come straight from the heart and will touch you deep in your soul. Layer upon layer vocals, guitar, organ and many other instruments are added to the solid foundation of drums and bass. Compelling riffs and hypnotic grooves drag the space rock away from the mountain peaks and bring her down toward the fertile marshes in the valley of the acid blues. Twinkling psychedelia mixes with danceable exotica and pulsating krautrock whispers her love in the ear of the seductive pop song. Just listen to live audience favorite 'Death of the Real' or their magnum opus 'Atman', title song of the album, clocking on 20:10 minutes. The Good Hand will make you gasp for breath. Ahh well… if you really need references… might be some influences veering from Queens Of The Stone Age, Black Mountain, Amon Düül II, Uncle Acid & the Dead Beats to Hawkwind via Sabbath and even Radiohead.
