Description/Reviews
Being an album by Virgil Donati one can easily anticipate some of the most breathtakingly articulate rhythms with enough energy to fuel a rocket ship and enough force to demolish a building. With musicians of this caliber we’re talking about compositions that change how we look at music.
In This Life is a challenging progressive metal work of art filled with dark, moody chords and melodies that give the feeling that you’re floating in space. The guitars lock in tightly with Donati’s drums, and the lead solos range from melodic and spooky to finger bending and mind blowing.  Here we have a compilation of music that pushes the boundaries of human capability, not just in what Donati himself has proven capable of, but also what the league of primed and exemplary musicians that accompany him throughout the album. ( guitar-muse.com)

Description/Reviews
Volto! delivers a hypnotic mix of experimental jazz, rock, fusion, prog and blues. Their self-produced album, Incitare, features nine original instrumental pieces, recorded and mixed by Joe Barresi (Tool, Queens of the Stone Age, Bad Religion, Weezer, Melvins) at Tool's Loft Studio.
Volto!'s radical fusion is impossible to classify. Guitarist John Ziegler cites influences such as Jimi Hendrix and Miles Davis, but the band clearly draws heavily from the art rock, tribal, space jazz, metal genres. The music is rhythmic, driving and magnetic.

Description/Reviews
This is ultra modern, heavy prog rock. The influences of bands of the 1970’s such as King Crimson or Rush are there, but this is further down the road in the evolution of the genre. The songs go in extended movements, like classical pieces. The guitars are angelic and airy while the rhythm section plays through a plethora of odd time signatures and patterns. The instrumental jams are as interesting as the songs themselves, of which there are a lot of. The vibe of the album is like a musical score to fit a science fiction road movie. It’s apocalyptic, chaotic at times, but always composed.

Description/Reviews
"Another Life" opens with a controlled distorted bass boosting high energy vibes which may remind you of this trio's obvious influence - 80s King Crimson music. But, very soon you will find that they are far from a KC clone. In fact, this trio's compositions are perfectly organized and framed for improvised music. They use German krautrock repetitive schemes (slightly psychedelic in moments), Fripp-Belew era King Crimson angular guitar/Stick constructions and free jazz improvisational freedom transformed via complex free-rock virtuosity to produce a unique mix (progressive free-rock?). Opposite to jamming, SAM's music sounds like a well engineered art engine, generating ideas and fulfilling them at the same time with solidity and professionalism.

The 6 tracks on "Overcoming The Monster" deal with the themes of psychological obstacles (monsters of the mind) that are manufactured in our thoughts, both internally through our insecurities, externally by the outside influence of others and collectively through the mass media which uses fear as a tool to manipulate our perceptions. "Overcoming The Monster" addresses the need to ignore these clandestine forms of control and rise above the Illusory obstacles that are placed in our path in order to deliberately block opportunities that are accessible to everybody.

Description/Reviews
A new concept album representing theme of dualism: good - evil, male - female, life - death, night – day. All lyrics have thought. The sound is full of musical depth and sonic variety. Well crafted songs create a kind of mystery. It would be just a crime to blame Italian composer, musician and producer for his respect to Marillion, Peter Gabriel and Pink Floyd. Though these ingredients are around, they are performed in a good way. The time flies by when playing ‘The River’ CD and it never let the listener's attention wander off... Prog Head
