Line-up:
Jon Courtney - vocals, guitars, keyboards
Chloë Alper - vocals, bass guitars, keyboards
   With
Geoff Dugmore - drums

Description/Reviews:

The best is saved for last, with the elaborate and sumptuous title track nicely sounding off this impressive comeback. Ultimately, Eupnea isn't a direct replica of the majestic sound of The Dark Third, nor it is quite its equal; however, it's closer to being both those things than one could realistically expect after the drastic change in style and subsequent demise that followed the debut, and should be warmly received by anyone who felt Pure Reason Revolution had unfinished business in the prog sphere.

Paul Jensen - Drums, Synth, Samples

Description/Reviews:

Embolism is an intense, deep and expressive ride through many different layers of music, emotions and feelings. The album plays like one long song, rather than a collection of separate tracks. It ebbs and flows beautifully throughout its fairly short running time, and never overstays its welcome. The pair seem to draw a range of influences, from older prog bands such as Pink Floyd and King Crimson, to more modern noise metal, such as the anguished walls of sound created by bands such as Cult Of Luna, Neurosis, and Today Is The Day.

Description/Reviews:

One can definitely hear the love and passion Dick has inserted into the compositions, as they contain many layers and refined details, all captured in a pristine clear production. The six tracks featured on the album also prove he most splendidly knows how to construct and write miniature suites that each on there own are embedded with expressive stories and messages. Bound together these songs even give the impression of having travelled through Dick's own journey of emotional seasons.
