Description/Reviews:
A female-fronted band may have a negative ring to it for some people, because too many bands have tried to clone others. This may be quite true, depending on your view, but if you are open-minded to all new stuff you will notice that skipping this 'category' is a mistake. Take a look at this London-based band which creates really fantastic, sensitive, high quality, mesmerising and renewing progressive folk. And don't take 'folk' too literally here. I also like the use of Hammond organ on some songs. Try Those Who Leave. Enjoy. (André de Boer at weekendprog.blogspot.com

In an advancing stage of evolution, the album showcases guest performances from a new lineup of musicians as well as a more dramatic approach to the usual methods of composition, which are primarily guitar and synthesizer driven. The songs heavily employ the usage of ethnic instruments found in Asia along with other ambient/world influences. A more integrated rhythm section is also prominent on the new release, which has a stronger focus on groove and feel.Media/Samples

Faint Signal is definitely heavily influenced by Rush, with many of the same themes coming up in their lyrics (politics, the media, society, etc.). Their self-titled debut album really struck a chord with me. After about a dozen reviews written for Bucketlist, I finally found a release worthy of a perfect note. In fact, if the editors would have let me, I would have given them an 11 out of 10, but alas these people can be pretty uncompromising at the best of times.Read the full review by Norm Boivin at bucketlistmusicreviews.com
