Description/Reviews:
"The Harp" is an ambitious album, uniting the greatness of Power Metal with the depth of Prog Metal and the richness of percussion from Bahia-Brazil, resulting in a unique and surprising sound.
The album is full of songs showcasing their main influences and delivering energizing anthems with messages that encourage introspection and reflection. As the album unfolds, listeners are taken on a journey through the subjectivity of the human soul, with moments of power and complexity interspersed with Brazilian percussion and Northeastern rhythms.
The lyrics draw inspiration from dark moments and overcoming difficulties, serving as reflections and invitations to find one's spotlight in life. Metaphors of battling loneliness and transformation resonate throughout, emphasizing the importance of willpower and courage.
For fans of bands like Angra, Stratovarius, Helloween, Symphony X, and Dream Theater, "The Harp" offers a refreshing and mature debut album that combines technical prowess with beautiful melodies and melodic ideas. It's a compelling fusion of Power Metal classics and the rhythmic traditions of northeastern Brazil, marking Auro Control as a band to watch in the metal scene.

El Poder de la Infancia's first album sums up the collective's musical exploration over the years, using the structures of progressive rock as a reference point to blend different textures of rock music with the language of jazz, influenced by cinema with the idea of creating visual landscapes for the listener.
Those who listen to the album will be able to understand its concept, where a child's imagination can create situations of happiness, love, hate, abstract, confusion and revolution.

Description/Reviews:
Finnish melancholic progressive metal band's third album, "Escherian", is a concept album in which the story's character desperately tries to escape a parallel reality. The character repeatedly experiences the same moments, unsure of where or when he is. Despite making progress, he finds himself in the same place over and over again.
The album's narrative reflects modern times: the journey of people through life, often reluctant to see what's happening around us. Our journey may resemble Penrose stairs – we move forward without questioning our direction, even though we tread the same path day after day.
Musically, "Escherian" continues the tradition of Lucidity. The band has maintained openness to a range of influences, spanning from the 70s to the present, encompassing genres from pop to extreme metal, this time drawing a bit more from progressive soundscapes.

Description/Reviews:
Italian artist Riccardo Zappa is out with the album "Gabri Flies to Italy", and I guess that progressive rock is the best category to sort this production under. It is a fairly low key and careful album we get here, with many of the all instrumental compositions exploring various combinations of acoustic guitars and keyboards first and foremost. Gentle, atmospheric laden and romantic creations, where the word dreamladen can be applied with a high degree of sincerity. On some of the compositions, like the massive title track that opens this album, we do get arrangements that are a bit more elaborate too, at least in parts of the song, and when I see references to the material of Mike Oldfield applied to some of Zappa's earlier albums I can hear that in those sequences and in passages in a few other songs too. This is music with an acoustic foundation that makes use of tendencies from acoustic rock, folk music and classical music without strictly adhering to any of these traditions, and sets them up in romantic and borderline cinematic journeys that occasionally touch base with similar types of landscapes as Mike Oldfield. If that sounds like music that will appeal to you, then this is an album that should be worth a listen. (Olav M. Bjornsen at progressor.net's facebook)

Description/Reviews:
Potental Deltas differentate itself from the previous album in the fact that the whole album is performed solely by Nikitas Kissonas. However, what stands out in this album is the inclusion of Greek lyrics along with English and the co-existence of Greek traditonal music with modern English progressive rock. Thus, the album consists of two parts, the English and the Greek.
