Christian Culak is a multi-instrumentalist from Victoria, Texas molding his own style and sound of modern progressive metal, post-rock, and string ensemble/choral blend. Introspection is an instrumental cathartic expression of the distinction between the realms of subjectivity/objectivity and its involvement in self-reflection.
Episodes is a wonderfully textured dream that envelopes you and pulls you deeper the longer you listen. Full of sonic twists and turns the EP shows off Remanon's musicianship mastery. It is a product that is worthy of a band with a much longer pedigree than Remanon's few short years. If you like your rock intelligent and diverse yet still able to deliver it in a palatable manor you must pick up this gem of an album. (Kevin Sweeney at yeneewsrecords.blogspot.com)Media/Samples
The story continues from where it ended. A magic ship will take you through a deep trip in the abyss of our fears to finally dock at a new island of peace. Epic guitars and Hammond still lead the scene while addition of Sax perfectly complements the colors of the music spectrum. The powerful rhythm section speeds the heart beat on evocative vocals.Media/Samples
Manic rockers and simply put the wicked fusion of Prog, Pop, Rock, Swing and electro. It's the vivid art-rock act from Brescia, Italy with a soft spot for the unexpected and bizarre. Influences and inspiration from acts such as System Of A Down, Pavlov's Dog, Frank Zappa, Dream Theatre, The Sparks? Squeeze all these acts together like an orange crush and end up with Kezia? Yeah. It's never that easy and you know it. Obviously never quite as superb as above mentioned acts. However, they certainly don't shun craziness, in fact they embraces it with all the power and might of Italian pizza and pasta... The overall structure is progressive rock, but they move in between the Dream Theatre-ish to the bizarre of Zappa to the aggressive attitude of SOAD and the playfulness of The Sparks.Read the full review at rockunitedreviews.blogspot.com
What you get to hear on ‘Haven’ is classic Kamelot; a signature blend of epic soundscapes and catchy riffs, all enveloped in a beautiful vocal performance. If they were a whisky, I’d probably be an alcoholic. But it begs the question: after all these years, does the same old formula still work? You bet it does!Read the full review by Bharat Gudihal at metalwani.com
The whole album is one feel-good ride. You can listen to it anytime, anywhere and be assured that it will leave you feeling rejuvenated and fresh. I know this sounds like a commercial for a drug, but that is absolutely how I felt every time I heard the album. Every song, even the darker ones, makes you want to get up and do something. Tommy Karevik’s voice only adds fuel to the fire of optimism; he has a way of making everything sound so uplifting.
