Description/Reviews:
Canvas of Silence is a catchy prog-influenced female vocal-driven metal band from Finland. The music of Canvas of Silence paints its pictures on silence with complementary colours. It’s heavy but melodic, occasionally complex yet at the same time somewhat simple and catchy, glued together with female vocals and symphonic elements. Or as the drummer Iiro Vuori put it, the music can be described as ”Prog-influenced Chorus Metal”.

With each new album, different musicians will be invited to join in, ensuring every release is a unique blend of personalities and influences. The band’s ever-changing lineup guarantees that no two albums are alike, but the commitment to instrumental storytelling and progressive exploration remains at the core. The concept behind the new album is to express in music things you don’t need lyrics for. A single from the album will be released each month leading up to the album’s release.

Description/Reviews:
PING is back - playing experimental Norwegian rock since last millennium. Inspiration from diverse artists like Zappa, Melvins, Ween, dEUS, Gentle Giant, Motorpsycho, Tom Waits and Wilco can be heard through all albums, combining elements from 60´s roots to modern metal and electronica.
Ping's new concept album Songs from the Nebula bends time and space with melodic yet dissonant progressive rock from the outer reaches. Songs from the Nebula brings words from that emptiness and the hope of space-time companions to be found. You'll hear claims of accelerating time; that black matter lives; a maiden voyage ship-wreck in the multiverse; bad boy recycling a funeral cake; and Calisto’s lament at always being number two.

The album features eight compositions, six of which were written by Everett, with additional works contributed by John Wubbenhorst (“The Dancers”) and U. Rajesh with Ganesh Kumar (“Fireflies”). Each piece reflects Everett’s commitment to exploring rhythmically advanced and melodically rich material while remaining grounded in ensemble interplay.
Tracks like “Morning Over Madrid” and “Solar Playground” balance compositional precision with space for improvisation. “Captain Quirk” highlights Deninzon and Holzman in tight counterpoint, while “The Secrets of Subtraction” explores tension and release through intricate call-and-response melody. The closing track, “Stargazing,” offers a meditative resolution that underscores the album’s emotional breadth.

Egor Lappo "Skyline"

Country: Russia
Genre(s)Progressive Pop Rock/Metal
Format: digital
Release date: October 10, 2025
Tracklist
1. Never Look Back
2. One More Day
3. When Was the Last Time
4. Exhilarated
5. Soulless Streets
6. Hold This Spark
7. Afterchime
8. Skyline
9. Guided by Desire
10. Forevers

Credits
Egor Lappo - Vocals, Guitars, Synths, Programming, Mixing, Mastering
Mosa Eye - Artwork

Description/Reviews:
This new album is Lappo’s most focused effort to date - the tight songwriting and sharp hooks result in an album that flows at an exciting pace. A vocal-forward album, Lappo leans even harder into pop tactics to provide catchy choruses supported by crafty song structures and melodic dynamism. Fans of the solo artist’s prior work will rejoice in the continued display of Lappo’s rip-roaring guitar soloing on Skyline, while also finding new intrigue in the riffs and synth concoctions that he boasts this time around.
Lyrically, the album confronts the past and the personal with forward-looking vigor. The zeal of the opening track “Never Look Back” is paired nicely with the electrifying lead single “One More Day”. With their anthemic choruses, this opening one-two punch is sure to hook the listener to Skyline. Shimmery tracks like “When Was the Last Time” and ”Skyline” put a positive lens on the past, while "Soulless Streets” and “Forevers” offer more somber takes on lost memories and frayed personal connections respectively. “Hold This Spark” exemplifies Lappo’s ability to meld prog metal theatrics with pop-banger ebbs and flows.
Skyline is an album bound to appeal to prog metal nerds and stadium rockers alike.

Recorded, mixed and mastered by Maurizio Pinna

Description/Reviews:
A concept album freely based on the story of Billy Milligan, known for a famous case of multiple personality disorder that caused a sensation in the United States in the 70s.
Through the narrative expedient of biographical storytelling, the album presents an allegory of the multiple inner voices that inhabit each individual: fears, desires, struggles, and weaknesses.
The result is a music voyage that oscillates between progressive rock and electronic experimentation, where dense, layered atmospheres drive the listener through an emotional labyrinth where nothing is as it seems.

Lyrics written by Oleksandr Kuts
Music written by Vøvk
Recorded, mixed & mastered at Lizard Audio (Kyiv, Ukraine)

Description/Reviews:
Vøvk blends progressive rock and post-hardcore, taking the best elements of both worlds. Their songs are a fusion of ordered chaos, emotionality, and experimentation. The lyrics explore the intersection of the symbolic and the personal, creating phantasmagoric narratives.
“Litera” is a conceptual release, a cohesive, multi-layered narrative exploring Ukraine’s emotional landscape in wartime. Although the word “war” is never spoken, its shadow runs through the metaphors of animals, landscapes, and natural cycles: from drought to fire, from flood to desolation.
