Description/Reviews:
I wouldn’t call it progressive “rock”, as it is quite reserved for the most part.  It has folk character, but it’s not really folk music, either.  You could call it experimental or progressive to some degree, but it also shares DNA with 70s soft rock.  It’s almost like Renaissance and Fleetwood Mac had a baby, and they named it Pink Floyd.  The guitar work is mostly acoustic, but electric guitars are brought in for effect and for some truly great solos.  Sharon’s vocals are golden and passionate, and many of the songs hover upon her vocal exercises before slowly and surely adding layers until, before you even realize it, the song has become a flowing river of melody and various colorful sparks.

Description/Reviews:
Getter has been described as ‘the fieriest fretboarding female ever to strap on a Stratocaster’ – her forte is heavy jazz-fusion with elements of King Crimson, Martin Barre, Steve Vai, a touch of Jeff Beck and a soupçon of Allan Holdsworth. She can play long, languid and lyrical, but also crunchy and hard, with notes tumbling over each other as they burst out of the speakers.
Recently she has been adding her vocals to the mix, and Division World – the third album from the Premonition – is her most song-heavy collection so far, with only one instrumental out of eleven tracks. The vocal numbers are enjoyable in a melodic, AOR fashion and most follow the same pattern: dreamy, gentle openings, getting louder with extended guitar and keyboard breaks in the middle. Getter’s voice is pleasant and tuneful – she reminds me of a mature Barbara Gaskin – but, like the songs, it is not particularly distinctive.

Description/Reviews:
Anchor and Burden is an uncompromising progressive avantgarde doom-jazz post-metal band based in Berlin, Germany, which has their own style of collective instant composition that defies the norms of creation. They create monolithic doom behemoths only to tear them into shreds with boundless energy in the next moment.
The two 8-string touch guitaristsMarkus Reuter and Alexander Dowerk conjure a wide array of moods with their unique instruments: From ethereal whispers out of sci-fi realms ot cerebral virtuosity that fractures the very psyche unto crushing metal brutality that leaves the listener gasping for their breath.
Bernhard Wöstheinrich weaves a web of synths and self-modulating percussive machinery, an arcane undercurrent beneath the towering monoliths of guitar, as fi sentient space stations traverse the void.
Drummer Asaf Sirkis, the virtuoso master of rhythm, wields his jazz and Indian polyrhythms not merely to forge a pulsating heartbeat, but also to break up and shift the quartet's music into unexpected places with his complex hyper jazz rhythms.
