Colin Mold, best known as founder member of the band Kara, produced his first solo CD in 2006 “Water Of Divinity”. His latest CD “Girl On The Castle Steps” sees him joining forces with lyricist Cindy L. Spear (Iona, Mandalaband ), who’s poems have inspired some of the musical pieces.
The new CD see’s more use of folk violin and orchestral elements, but also the rock genre has not been forgotten. Mixing the folk rock styles of Barcley James Harvest / Al Stewart /Mike Oldfield with the more progressive rock influences of bands like Camel and Pendragon.
He has now started work on album number three and can be seen throughout 2012 playing as a member of KARNATAKA.
