The Archestra is one of the 2 bands resulting from the split of Rational Diet. Septet "The Arches"- is the core of the same titled interdisciplinary project. The septet plays at the junction of such styles as Prog-rock, Rock-In-Opposition, Modern Jazz, New Chamber Music. One of the main stylistic features of the ensemble - is the duality of the musical material, so the music gets cinematographic bulge. Moreover, when the main character of the musical material is rather accessible, it interacts with the material of the second layer which was composed in sophisticated techniques of contemporary classical music such as concrete, aleatoric, sonorus or serial techniques. A company of professional musicians who have extensive experience playing in a variety of musical formations (from rock and jazz groups to symphony orchestras) came together to carry out this complex musical conception.
