The atmosphere of desolate-sounding Western soundtracks and the unsettling otherworldliness of the synthesized textures of ‘80s electronic music as nightmarish travelogues replete with confusion, nihilism and the insignificance of man in an unforgiving and alien landscape.
A sludgier take on the established Napatista space-twang style. Written as a live band at high volume, with a reduced focus on the sonic adornments characteristic of previous work, and a more specific emphasis on the traditional booze-fueled muscular rock format splattered with broken krautrock, shitty math, and cinematic tension.
