Description/Reviews:
On the full-length the Rhineland-Palatinate artist lets the mysticism of Rhine Romanticism shine in new splendor. Sophisticated, melodic and timelessly beautiful Rock music full of imagination and depth, wrapped in a warm and powerful sound, forms the musical cosmos of JOHNROSE. Thereby, he falls back on his longtime experience in Prog and Rock cover bands and inspires besides the high-class instrumentation with subtle lyrics. The Rock Poet from the Middle Rhine wanders unerringly between the musical spheres of melodic Prog, AOR and elegant Art Pop so that each of the twelve songs sounds unmistakably like JOHNROSE. “The Prophet’s Dance” is for music lovers who appreciate Rock with charisma and personality, as played by Pink Floyd, Manfred Mann’s Earth Band, Toto or even Kate Bush.

Description/Reviews:
VOYAGER-X ignite a magical mixture of Progressive Metal, Melodic and Hard Rock on their album “Magic”. Listening to the nine songs, the listener literally floats away to times when musical virtuosity and vocal art still harmonized perfectly, and bands such as Van Halen, Survivor, Marillion or Saga dominated the charts. VOYAGER-X skillfully built the bridge from Classic Bombast and Artrock to more modern sounds with their sophisticated Rock music. Actually, the album “Magic” was supposed to have been released in 1997, but shortly after the recording of the songs in Deckelmann Studio in Zirndorf, Germany, the musicians decided to put their band, then still called VOYAGER, on ice due to their life circumstances at that time, taking them all around the globe. The group then awoke from this deep slumber just after the original line-up met during an event in 2019, and the idea came up to continue what ended so abruptly 22 years earlier after an exciting decade of intensely lived Rock ’n’ Roll Lifestyle. Due to other bands using the name in the meantime, the band was renamed to VOYAGER-X. Political and still current events are processed in the lyrics, penned by singer Mario Gansen (ex-Grim Reaper, ex-Dynasty). The musicians see themselves as entertainers with a particular claim, taking their audience on a journey through their own Rock history with their varied program. Therefore, friends of great Melodic Rock in the style of Queensrÿche, Fates Warning or Savatage can now look forward to the release of the extraordinary album “Magic”, which was also remastered by Romin Katzer.

Description/Reviews
“The World Conspires” is the fifth album and at the same time the beginning of a new phase in the musical development of BIRDEATSBABY, touching the spheres of modern Prog Metal for the first time. Reaching into these new avenues of musical inspiration, the English band fuse their genre of Dark Cabaret with harder progressive sounds without neglecting their roots. With “The World Conspires” BIRDEATSBABY have now returned with a soundtrack for  the  soulful,  haunting,  riotous  celebration  of  life  in  all  its  facets.  The  album  leads  the  listener  on  a roller coaster ride of drama and conflicting emotions. From the rich, orchestral and fragile album opener “Hold Your Breath”, a mantra for anyone who has gone through trauma, it continues with the mystical “Painkiller”, as well as the title song and its overwhelming ode to love, on to “Lady Grey”, which elegiacally and captivatingly walks through the shadows, before the musicians slow down with “How  Do  I”  and  let  Mishkin’s  sensitive  voice  float  over  soft  piano  sounds,  accompanied  by  strings.  The tragic “Box Of Razorblades” continues atmospherically until the last act is introduced with the extraordinary “Dido’s Lament” along with brilliant guest vocals by Feline Lang (Feline & Strange). In “Kill No One” the punk attitude of earlier days flashes up again before the last curtain falls with the spherical “Look Away”.

Description/Reviews
Titled “Mirror Of Creation III – Project Ikaros“, the German Progressive Metal institution TOMORROW‘S EVE start their comeback with their fifth album, which could not be more majestic, varied and bombastic and shows the band on the peak of its creativity so far. An extravagant musical journey of a special kind not only awaits fans of powerful driven forward Progressive Metal, but also fans of orchestral epics, which are refined by chaotic aggressive keyboards, but never neglect the melodies. The ‘Mirror Of Creation‘ provides complex song structures that demand the listener, but alternate recursively with catchy choruses and shallow sounds. Musically, a driving rhythm section, sensitive piano passages, acoustic guitars and extensive musical landscapes merge with the lyrical concept of the works of Edgar Allen Poe. With “Mirror Of Creation III – Project Ikaros”, the band once again succeeds in strengthening their reputation and this is evident in the eleven songs in all respects. The opener “Welcome To The Show” describes how the hall darkens and the show is starting. This shows uncompromisingly into which musical realm TOMORROW’S EVE will venture out. “Morpheus” depicts the tragedy of insomnia and the characters pursued nightmares, while “Bread And Circuses” directs to the topic of the past and raises the question if humanity will ever be able to learn from failures of the past.  “Imago” illustrates that fear can be the key to insanity, privacy and individuality are just a few of the dying values. “The System”, a song that mentally raises the idea, if it would be not even more appropriate for humanity to end up wiping itself out for the sake of humanity itself. “Dream Within A Dream” describes the battle against this very mechanized system. However, the poem found in the song ensures that the endless cycle of the system can be finally revealed in “Somnium Ex Machina”.
