It`s band's hommage to the Art Rock as we know it from the heart of  the 20th  century. The main difference between the 2 albums as usual Karfagen is primarily instrumental work whilst Sunchild is song oriented.

Description/Reviews: 

AKKO is Kalugin’s vehicle for a more relaxing style of instrumental music than his other projects. If everything that uses a lot of electronic keyboards and samples, leisurely tempos, and not a lot of rock drums is new age, then this is new age-y. But it does feature quite a bit of electric guitar, and it does have low-key drums/percussion. The problem with the new age genre is that musicianship has often been lacking, and many of the artists lacked a rock background or experience in a band that might have given their music more depth. That’s not the case with Kalugin, so AKKO is more relaxed than his other work but never insipid, perfect for when the mood calls for something mellow that can still be listened to with full concentration. As ever his albums never play safe musically whilst still retaining everything that is his trademark, ALEATORICA is a new studio KARFAGEN album that will further enrich KARFAGEN into the hearts of all lovers of prog/art rock. Just like “Symphony” the last album, this music has been on the back burner waiting for the flame to light the fire and for Antony to enter into the final recording process, that flame was this summer’s European concerts and festivals undertaken by the band. The reaction of the fans to KARFAGEN live challenged Antony, as always, to travel that extra distance musically looking for the very best for its followers.
