Description/Reviews
First off the production in this is raw(ramsey voice) sounding but very finessed, it's almost like they recorded the whole album live and did a  EQ mix..
It's not the kind of production i come to expect from these kind of bands which have very polished and extremely well/ overproduced records BUT after getting through this record i can say it benefits it fully and il explain why!
The dynamics of the band are in full exposure here from the small to the large moments in the songs from the heavy and technical riffs to the dexterous bass playing and  the drums strength and impact is present all the way through but remains present and clear in the mix but also its hard and precise work from the musicians and not fix it in the mix attitude.

Description/Reviews
HPs’ greatest asset (in this humble writer’s view) is their joyful attitude to instrumental arrangement – every shimmering clarinet line, buzzing horn swell and glimmering glockenspiel hit feels like the product of exquisite craft and attention, as well as incredible musicianship. It’s a rare group that can muster such a broad instrumental palette (is that a dulcimer in ‘Treacle’?) – and they deftly weave a host of organic and electronic timbres together from technicolour track to another. 10. Whale Song (4:28)

Total Time 52:35

Kevin Estrella

Description/Reviews
There's good variety in the song styles. The opening track, Blood Moon, features the unmistakable galloping rhythms and harmonising guitars of Iron Maiden. Arioso Lullaby harkens back to Pachelbel's Canon in D, overdubbed with layers of electric guitars, while Whale Song is, yes you guessed it, whale cries imitated via whammy bar, over oceanic keyboards and sound effects.
While Edge Of The Black has an occasional Yngwie-type neo-classical solo passage, and there are some reminders of classical influences in keyboard harpsichord samples, the best elements of this album remind me more of the crunchy, riff-laden playing of George Lynch or Zakk Wylde, than the fleet-fingered solo gymnastics of Satriani, Malmsteen, or Vai.

Santi Calero: Electric & Spanish guitars
   With
Samuel  Calero: Bass (3)
Peter Fischer: Guitar (1)

Description/Reviews
Both musicians have poured their heart and soul into the music, as delicately demonstrated by the epic Tower 9 which incorporates lovely melancholic ideas and many neo-progressive influences. The engaging extensive track flows through many different atmospheres and delicious segments that feel somewhat familiar to Eighties Italian Neo-progressive rock bands like Fancy Fluid and Leviathan, while the middle section seeps into darker early Marillion territories. Most appealing is its continuance into a long embracing instrumental movement mindful to Eloy (Silent Cries & Mighty Echoes), which is brought with perfect harmonisation of keys, mellotron and gorgeous guitars, played most excellently by special guest Peter Fischer.

Description/Reviews
"Ozakko No. 2" is a crazy happy one as well. Always looks like they're happy and cheerful upon stage or in a weekend banquet. Much appreciated. In "Mi Ra Do" is somewhat tragic, depressive, and sorrowful ... their sincere feeling in front of illness, methinks ... I love their seriousness nonetheless. "Matsaman" is always played as one of their repertoires upon stage, that lets me know how they get impressed and amazed to come across such a novel cuisine. "MMM (My Majestic Maneuver)" consists of repetitive dreamy phrases with complicated, perverted melodic / rhythmic lines, obviously drives me into kinda nightmare. "I Want Some Coffee" can be thought as the one man show by Yoshiharu, a hardcore coffee fan. The last "Sauna" tells us their happiness in a sauna, even upon a hurricane day.

Second; name is MYTHOLOGY.

Description/Reviews
Guranfoe is an English rock group that formed in 2012 in Norwich. Their music forges elements of progressive rock, improvisational jazz, psychedelic rock, electric fusion and ancient ragas.
Their music sits in a space between rock form and jazz freedom, evoking the pastoral psychedelia of Anthem of the Sun-era Grateful Dead, while simultaneously conjuring the tricky time signatures of Gentle Giant.
