For her latest release, pianist/composer Hiromi continues to work with the dynamic and technically gifted trio that includes herself and two veteran players contra-bass guitarist Anthony Jackson (Paul Simon, The O'Jays, Steely Dan, Chick Corea) and drummer Simon Phillips (Toto, The Who, Judas Priest, David Gilmour, Jack Bruce). There is still plenty to explore musically in the challenging compositions that Hiromi composes. The new compositions and energy will be based on one's life, hence the title Alive.
