A female-fronted band may have a negative ring to it for some people, because too many bands have tried to clone others. This may be quite true, depending on your view, but if you are open-minded to all new stuff you will notice that skipping this 'category' is a mistake. Take a look at this London-based band which creates really fantastic, sensitive, high quality, mesmerising and renewing progressive folk. And don't take 'folk' too literally here.
