New band that plays the kind of classic instrumental Italian soundtrack prog that made the likes of e.g. Goblin and Ennio Morricone famous. La Batteria play vintage instruments, but the result is not merely a revival; it`s a projection of the past into the present, in which additional musical elements like cosmic psychedelic, funk, a bit of Afrobeat and even some touches of hiphop in one track are integrated in a very subtle way without losing the traditional feeling of the soundtracks.
