Description/Reviews
Despite the concept album label, the record is surprisingly more listener-friendly than previous releases. The psychedelic chaos simulated in their older tracks is absent, replaced by mellower, funkier anthems designed to elicit a cheeky dance move rather than a headbang.
De Cinque’s signature falsetto soars throughout the record, bearing even more of a striking resemblance to the voice of Cedric Bixler-Zavala of The Mars Volta fame. His voice is matched in versatility by guest vocalist Kitty Hart in the psych funk track ‘Neoprene Byzantine’.
