King of Twilight is released in anticipation of Theater of the Absurd's forthcoming full-length prog opus, Death in Aspiration. Featuring two adventurous new compositions and an inspired take on a Nektar classic, this EP demonstrates the band's maturity and spectacular elan. The title track is a new interpretation of the 1972 original, invigorated with blistering intensity and the outfit's signature male/female vocal scheme. "Adrift in Time" is an introspective and emotionally complex piece of music that incorporates a string quartet to great effect. In "Cor Inquietus," an ambitious progressive affair that's exclusive to this EP, intricate instrumentation and an extended Fender Rhodes solo take center stage.Media/Samples
